Commons governance has become a burgeoning discipline in the world, which has been introduced into China in the early 21st century. With more and more Chinese scholars devoted to the research of commons governance, the discipline is becoming popular. Introduction to the Commons Governance is written and edited by Professor Wang Yahua of the School of Public Policy & Management, Tsinghua University. Introduction to the Commons is the first Chinese textbook to systematically review the discipline dynamics of commons governance. The textbook contains five chapters, including the basic concept of commons governance, the evolution of disciplinary classical analysis framework, the classic theories of commons governance and their dynamics, the disciplinary research paradigms and methods, and typical research cases worldwide. Combining international frontier theory with China’s reform practice, Introduction to the Commons Governance provide a new knowledge perspective for Chinese researchers.
